Dear iWoman Family,

Have you felt your breasts lately?

It’s one of those things we rarely think about—until we have to. Until we, a friend, or a loved one hears those chilling words: “We found a lump.” In that moment, everything stops. Whether you’re young or old—and yes, men, this includes you too—breast cancer is a disease that touches far too many lives.

As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to encourage you to make conversations about your breasts comfortable. Talk about them. Check them. Ask questions. Share stories. The more we normalize these conversations, the more lives we can save.

Early detection truly is the key to survival. In most cases, when breast cancer is caught early, it can be treated and beaten. So let’s join together this month—and every month—to end the stigma around women’s health.

My hope is that talking about breast health becomes as natural and mainstream as chatting about the latest series you’re watching on Netflix. Because our health, our bodies, and our stories deserve that level of attention and care.

Together, we can beat cancer.

Together, we can save lives.

With love and awareness,

Cathleen
